Viktor is not your usual protagonist who vows to fight evil and makes it happen in the end. He is a real character; he has habits and mannerisms that you will find in many people around you. He is tenacious when it comes to his family and loved ones, but at the same time, he has compassion for the people who are suffering. He is the hero of the story yet he is nothing more than a human who is trying to do his best, even if he fails at first. I loved this about his character and I enjoyed that thoroughly. The actual storyline is very interesting and riveting. There is never a dull moment in the story and the author keeps the momentum going until the very end.
